For many years Henry Rollins has taken photographs on his travels. Join Henry for an intimate evening as he shows many of his favorites from Baghdad to Pyongyang. Rollins will present a special performance drawing on experiences and his vast archive of photographs. As a keen observer, Henry will be bringing stories from journeys all over the world, including the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, South America and Antarctica.

BRENTANO QUARTET

BRENTANO QUARTET
PRESENTED BY CHAMBER MUSIC CINCINNATI

Founded in 1992 at the Juilliard School, the Brentano Quartet has performed in the world’s most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall, the Library of Congress, London’s Wigmore Hall, Vienna’s Konzerthaus, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Tokyo’s Suntory Hall, Sydney’s Opera House, among many others. After the Tokyo String Quartet retired in 2013, the Brentano became Quartet-in-Residence at Yale University. It won the Naumburg Chamber Music Award, the first Cleveland Quartet Award, and was an inaugural member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s CMS Two series. This will be their fourth time performing on our series.
